Imogene M. Blazer Remijan

Imogene M. Blazer Remijan, 78, of Lyons, Ill. passed away on December 22, 2000 at the Hinsdale Hospital.
She was born November 18, 1922 in Decatur, the daughter of Albert and Ann (Fox) Blazer. She was raised in Du Quoin and later moved to Lyons, Ill. where she was a school crossing guard for the Village of Lyons. She was of the Protestant faith.
On July 23, 1960, she married Edward P. Remijan, and he survives.
She is survived by her husband of Lyons; five children, Lawrence (Corky) Longshore and wife Freida of Du Quoin, David W. Longshore of Du Quoin, Mrs. William (Pat) Kruzick of Pinckneyville, Gene Longshore and wife Lil of Plainfield, Ill., and Mrs. George (Sherry) Bailey of Sunfield; nine grandchildren; 18 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, six sisters and two brothers.
Graveside funeral services were at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 13, 2001 at Sunset Memorial Park in Du Quoin with Rev. Clover officiating. The Searby Funeral Home of Du Quoin was in charge of arrangements.
